Travel Stomach Problems

A Message from Noelyne...

Are you looking for a way to stop getting Travel Stomach Problems?
Do you get Travel Tummy or Traveller's diarrhea?
Are you worried about getting an upset stomach the next time you travel abroad?  Having to spend time in your room or near a toilet will ruin your holiday.

I can recommend a totally natural treatment that will work no matter which country you are travelling to.

How do I know?
I have many testimonials from very satisfied people who enjoyed a holiday free of Travel Stomach Problems.  My latest success is with a family of 4 who travelled to Gambia 2 years ago and their holiday was ruined when all four had Stomach upsets and problems.  They loved Gambia and decided to rebook a holiday.

Obviously concerned that they would all have Travel Stomach Problems again they decided to take my advice.  Mum and the two children aged 14 and 7 took the tablets, Dad decided to be the control and didn't take the tablets.  They were sceptical however, prepared to give it a go rather than suffer with Traveler's diarrhea and stomach problems again.

The result - Mum and the two children were absolutely fine all week, which was fantastic.  Dad had stomach problems all week.

The product - Forever Active Probiotic.  It works by promoting a healthy digestive system with a unique combination of 6 shelf-stable beneficial strains of microbes.  Easy to swallow beadlet that also enhances nutrient absorption and immune function.

To view the product and purchase click here

At £23.49 or $22.80 in the USA it's a small price to pay for no stomach problems and a happy holiday.  What's more you get a 60 day money back guarantee so if it doesn't work for you then you can get a full refund.

I know that I will take them whenever I travel abroad to avoid Travel Stomach Problems.  To view the product and place an order Go here now

Alternatively you can contact me direct and I will place an order for you.  Send me an e-mail here

How to Overcome Menopause

A Message from Noelyne...

It has always been my intention to go through the menopause naturally without hormone replacement treatment or therapy.  I hadn't really put much thought into it as I just expected to be able to get through the menopause naturally without any form of treatment.  I didn't really know when it would happen so of course when the time came I didn't recognise the signs.

I wasn't expecting it and I had been naive enough to think that I wouldn't need any help.  So I was shocked when I realised that I wasn't coping terribly well with life and that it was actually due to the menopause. The realtionship with my partner broke down and I could do nothing to stop it.  I had been moody, irritable, lacking in energy, head pains and then aching joints.  In hindsight this was all so out of character that I am amazed that I didn't realise that there was something happening.  The problem is that it's so gradual.

When I look back now I realise that the first signs were when I started to have very short menstrual cycles of 17 days and less for a few months.  I had put it down to stress at the time as I was particularly busy with my business.  Then I went for a while with longer gaps of 30+ days and eventually I went 6 months without a period.

It was at this stage that I had my first hot flush.  Yet I still didn't realise that I was also having mood swings and feeling irritable.  Then I had a number of bad headaches and seem to become intolerant to alcohol.  Even one glass would cause a bad headache.  My partner and I were growing further and further apart at this stage and anything I did to regain the relationship just made matters worse.  About 18 months after the very first signs I realised that I was exhausted and that my joints were aching and that I needed help.

I am totally against HRT so going to the GP was not an option that I was prepared to take.  I was introduced to a local business woman at a networking event and she introduced my to Forever Living Products, the aloe vera company.  I went straight onto the Standard Aloe Vera drinking gel and within 3 weeks my energy levels were back up.  I started taking Artic Sea, Omega 3 fish oils and my joints stopped aching within 6 weeks.  I then started taking additional supplements to see what effect it would have on the other symptoms of Hot Flushes and mood swings.

I started with Gin Chia which is recommended as an anti-depressant and mood enhancer and also good for menopausal symptoms.  I took it for a while but wasn't convinced so went onto A Bet CarE, which is rich in vitamins A(Beta carotene), E and selenium.  This really gave me a boost and I started to feel great.

Then occasionally I found myself feeling low again and as soon as I did I took a Gin Chia, which helped to pick up my mood.

I was still getting hot flushes so did some research and found that the Peruvian herb Maca is great for managing hot flushes and is n fact a natural HRT.  You can imagine my delight when I realised that Forever do a supplement with this wonderful herb in it - Multi Maca.  I now feel fantastic, the hot flushes have virtually disappeared and what's more my libido has returned...yes maca is also known as the sex herb :)

It's now 16 months since my last menstrual cycle and I feel fantastic! High energy, positive again and loving life.  Most importantly I am now seeing my partner again.  He and the boys are back in my life although he did move back to his own house, so it's early days with that.

For the first 48 years of my life I did not take supplements of any kind preferring to get my nutrition from the food I eat.  I realised that this just was not enough for the menopause.  I now take the following products:
  • 60 mls Aloe Vera Gel Drink every morning
  • 1 Arctic Sea capsule daily
  • 1 Multi Maca daily
  • 1 Gin Chia as and when I notice a dip in my mood
  • A BetaCarE occasionally
My mission now is to help you or anyone you know to overcome menopause naturally.  You can do it!

You're Great

A Message from Noelyne...

You are unique!  So there's no point in trying to be anybody but you and to the be the best that you can be.  In my personal development workshops 'Make the Best of You' I show people exactly how to do that.  In just 8 hours participants can learn to let go of the past, learn to be themselves again and transform their lives.

Sounds pretty good deosn't it.  If you would like to know more about the training courses that I deliver please e-mail me

In the meantime follow some of these ideas to help yourself create your own personal power:
  • Stop comparing yourself to other people, there is no right way to look or be.  Celebrate you and your differences and be yourself. Wear what you like and what suits you.
  • A smart person once said that if you try to be someone else you could only be a second rate version, a sort of human photocopy.  If you have the courage to be you, you would be the original.  Wouldn't you rather be an original?
  • Love yourself for who you are and not what you look like.  Extend this to others, don't judge people by the way they look, go deeper than this and value yourself and others for what's on the inside.
I encourage you to celebrate the uniqueness of you.

Have fun,

X-Factor

A Message from Noelyne....

I love this TV programme, don't you?  I know it's not everyone's cup of tea however, it's inspirational to me because it brings hope to so many people, even if only for a very short while....  Most people are searching for the one thing that will make the difference to their life, the one thing that will transform their lives.  The people queueing patiently to meet the X-Factor panel believe that it's there chance of fame and fortune and to be recognised for their unique talents.  They are chasing a dream.

Like for so many of the X-Factor hopefuls it is constantly elusive and life just doesn't measure up on the scales of success.

What is it that you are chasing?
Do you constanly wish you had more?  Perhaps you look at the neighbours or friends and wish you had what they seem to have?

Instead of focusing on the parts that are missing or the negatives do a mind flip and look at everything that you've already got that's good.  Friends, family, partner, books, music, a place of your own.  Make sure you give enough time to these.

In the little book 'The Science of Getting Rich' Wallace Wattles talks of 'not wasting time trying to figure out some strange, unusual or remarkable action to perform as the first step toward getting rich.  Just do what you normally do but with a new attitude, point of view, mindset'

I qualifed as an NLP Master Practitioner a few years ago and this transformed my life through showing me how to change my mindset and have a new attitude and view of the world.  In my training and workshops I use the tools and techniques of NLP to help transform other peple's lives too.  My new Membership site is packed full of hints and tips on getting the most out of life.

Enjoy your own personal X-Factor,

Well-Being and Wellness

Bouncing with happinessImage by alancleaver_2000 via Flickr

A Message from Noelyne...

Well-being
Health can be defined as 'A state of complete physical, social and mental well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity'  True well-being happens when you achieve collaboration of the body and mind.  Balance and harmony are two words that I also associate with well-being.

Here's some tips for creating well-being:
  • Take a few moments each day to get yourself back on track.  Create balance and harmony through meditation or yoga.  Find a peaceful space, focus on your natural breathing and give your mind time off from the stresses of daily life to get back your balance and inner harmony

  • Take up the gentle exercise of Tai Chi - it helps to bring back balance through breathing exercises and gentle stretches
  • Use your personal time to focus on your positive points and achievements.  Keep a success diary and add to it weekly
  • Use positive thinking to boost your self-esteem and learn to accept others appreciation of you.

Wellness
Keeping well is the best gift you can give yourself.  Everything else comes together when your health is at it's best.  Yet it's all to easy to take wellness for granted until it's gone.  I've recently snapped a few fibres in my knee as a result of falling on the ski slopes and the binding not releasing.  It really brought home how important it is to take care of our joints and muscles.  It's been a reminder to me to take it easy and listen to my body.

Top tips for creating wellness
  • Eat healthily and remember to practice good hygiene when preparing food.
  • Get moving - one of the best things you can do is to get some form of exercise
  • Think well - believe that you can manage your own health and that you have a strong healthy immune system.
  • Get plenty of rest - it's essential to get your recommended amount of sleep, this does vary so work out what you need.
I've blogged in more detail before about most of these topics so have a look around the site if you want more information or contact me click this link

Be well!

Vitality

Jogging in the park...Image by Ed Yourdon via Flickr
A Message from Noelyne...

How much vitality do you have?  Do you have low levels of energy? Every little bug, cold, stomach upset whittles away at your body's store of vital energy.

How would you like to feel full of energy again?  It's possible to get your bounce back by following a few of these tips.

Eat super foods - rich in immune boosting vitamins and minerals.  Green, orange and yeloow vegetables provide a rich source of antioxidants.  Garlic and Propolis (a natural antibiotic) ward off infections to keep the body healthy.

Drink Aloe Vera gel first thing in the morning to kickstart your system.  It detoxes and is also an excellent source of all the essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids that the body needs.

Lack of sleep can zap your body of vital energy and lower the immune system so if you have trouble getting off the sleep then drink calming tea such as camomile before bedtime - if you don't like camomile try the ones with honey added.

Reduce your stress levels as this is another major culprit in depleting the body's natural defences.  Find time for an aromatherapy bath, with lavender or rosemary essential oils to ease away the day.  Alternatively try a massage with you partner.

Enjoy recharging those batteries.

Unity and Understanding

Violets are blue?Image by Aditya Grandhi via Flickr
A Message from Noelyne...

So often unhappiness comes from a lack of understanding of your own needs and the needs of others.  Relationship are what makes the world go round in both work, personal life and business.  So you don't enjoy good relationships with the people in your life you may not be being as successful and happy as you could be.

The secret of healthy, happy relationships is understanding yourself and others.  Think back to your last disagreement: do you understand your feelings about what was said?  Have the other person's motivations and objections become clear?  Did you really listen to what they were trying to say, or were you too busy thinking of your own answer to pay attention?

If you're finding it hard to communicate with an important person in your life then you may want to talk things through with a Relationship Coach or Counsellor.  Talking things through with a stranger can often help you to see things from a different point of view and forces you to listen to one another.

Try these to improve your understanding of yourself and others

1. Turn your head from side to side and then in circles.  Run the back of your neck and throat - a tense neck indicates that you don't want to hear or communicate truthfully.
2. Write down all the things you wish you could say without repurcussion.
3.  Imagine a turquoise flower at your throat, opening as you breathe in lightly and closing as you breathe out.  Imagine yourself saying all the things you want to say honestly and calmly.
4. As you speak imagine the chakra flower becoming a deep blue violet.  This brilliant colour is the chakra of listening to your higher self and speaking how you truly feel.

Understand yourself first the you wil be better placed to understand others.

Enjoy!

Time - How to make time for you?

A Message from Noelyne...
If you are having trouble finding time for yourself, then maybe it's time you planned for it.  Time management skills don't have to begin and end at work.  It is important to assess how much time you have and manage it efficiently, so that there is room for 'me' time.  Otherwise you will find when you stop to have a relaxing bath or have lunch with a friend, your mind will still be your To do list.

Here's some tips.
  • Work out a realistic schedule for your week. I use one of Stephen Coveys templates from his excellent book 'The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People' to plan my week and do that every Sunday. Put the tasks you want to do in order of importance High, Medium and Low or A, B, C.  Then make sure you schedule them in focusing on A tasks every day.
  • Allocate free time for you every day
  • If something unexpected comes up just reschedule the list of priorities.  Think about whether you can delegate any of the tasks or ask a friend or family to help.
  • Create a sanctuary just for you. A spare room, a corner of a room and fill it with your favourite things such as books and photos.
Enjoy the process of life,

Self-esteem - How do you feel about yourself?

Self esteemImage by toastforbrekkie via Flickr
A Message from Noelyne...

How do you feel about yourself?  Feeling good about yourself is as essential to your health as a well balanced diet and exercise.  Confidence allows you to feel that anything is possible.  Here are some tips to help you feel better about yourself.  I cover this in much more detail on my other blog Personal Achievement Specialist at www.noelynejones.com
  • Recognise your strengths - Make a list of your good points, big or small.  Being proud of your abilities is not showing off, but a healthy attitude.  From being an expert at computers to making a mean coffee list them all.
  • Allow yourself some mistakes - Mistakes are how you grow and develop as a person.  It's the mistakes that you make that you will learn most from.  Don't beat yourself up over the past, learn from it so that you do even better in the future.  Confucious, the Chinese philosopher said 'Things that are done, it is needless to speak about. Things that are past, it is needless to blame'.  You can't change the past however, you can change the future.  Start now.
  • Take risks - not life threatening ones, but allow yourself to push out of your comfort zone.  Get into the stretch zone more often and as you accomplish new challenges and goals your self-esteem will soar.
  • Visualise yourself at the end of your life, looking back at the things you have done.  What do you want to say at that time? You wanted to be a trapeze artist but didn't know if you could? That you met your dreams head on?  Aim for the moon and you might just hit the stars.
Enjoy the process of life,

Revitalise - How to boost your system and energy levels

The updated USDA food pyramid, published in 20...Image via Wikipedia

A message from Noelyne...

Give your system a bost every now and then by taking steps to revitalise your energy levels.  If you are very busy or have been unwell, it can leave you feeling sluggish and listless.  Taking time regularly to recharge will infuse you with vitality.  Here are some tips for revitalising yourself: some are quick fixes others will need more time and dedication.

  • Revitalising yourself through nourishing food - is the perfect place to start.  The food on our plates today is not as nutritious as it was 10 years ago.  Intensive farming, chemicals, supermarkets and the fast pace of life all contribute to poorer quality.  If you are fortunate to be able to buy farm fresh or even produce your own then you stand a better chance of having the right level of vitamins etc in your diet.

  • Think about the food you eat. Eating sugary foods will give you an instant high however, will ultimately make you feel slow and sluggish.  A detox can bring a new sense of vitality and regenerate your system.  Try spring cleaning your body by eating raw fruit and vegetables and unprocessed seeds, nuts and grains, which improve cellular functioning and increase stamina and energy.

  • Try a weekend detax or fast.
  • Use colour therapy to revitalise yourself.  Red, the colour of energy, can stimulate vitality and can also promote self-confidence, courage, stability, security, passion and physical activity.
  • Drink Aloe Vera Gel - This will increase your energy levels long term.  It works by improving the body's absorption of vitamins and minerals from teh food you eat and also is full of essential nutrients, vitamins, minerals and amino acid.  Make sure the drink is made from the inner leaf gel only.
Enjoy feeling energised again,

Quiet - How to find peace and quiet with meditation

"Gathering the Light", Taoist medita...Image via Wikipedia

A Message from Noelyne...

In our busy world it can be difficult to find peace and quiet.  However, we all need some quiet time to rest and recharge.

Find quiet within yourself with this meditation.  Make time to practise it every day, at the same time.  Good times are first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
  • Sit comfortably in a quiet place and relax.  Take a few deep breaths in and out, letting go of any tension as you breathe out.  Close your eyes.  Still your mind by focusing on your breath.  Alternatively, a mantra of your choice or a picture of a smiling buddha or candle flame.  Aim to practise for 20 minutes.  Then open your eyes and gently stretch before getting up.  You may find it difficult to stay focused at first however, if you persevere you will eventually get the results you want.

Make time every day to spend time somewhere serene, even a quiet half hour in the bathroom can make all the difference.

Reduce the amount of noise in your surroundings by only having one appliance on at a time.

Have a TV free evening! Chat to your partner, read a book or bake a cake.

Have a quiet and peaceful day,

Noelyne Jones

Pamper

A Message from Noelyne....

I am giving you permission to pamper yourself.  Yes go ahead and take time out to have a long relaxing bath, or a massage or a facial or whatever it is that you like to do.

Take some time to focus on pleasing yourself.  I'm sure you've said it to friends many times, haven't you?  Well now it's your turn.

Here's some ideas

  • Splash out on some delicious food.  Go to a restaurant you've always fancied, indulge in expensive chocolates.
  • Spa treatment for a day - you are worth it and just think how relaxed and transformed you will feel.  You don't have to book into an expensive hotel, turn your own home into a spa for the day with relaxing candle, music and no children running around!
  • Watch a DVD or go to the cinema
  • Have a deeply relaxing Indian Head Massage
I'm regularly giving massage treatments to my family and rarely take time out for myself, so I'm going to take a leaf out of my own blog and have a lovely relaxing bath with my favourite Aloe Vera Bath salts and minerals.

Have fun,

Overcome

A Message from Noelyne...

Do you have problems and challenges to address?  You won't be alone.  The key is to deal with them and in doing so you will empowre yourself and boost your feelings of self-worth.

The longer you bury your head in the sand the longer you are putting off having a happy and meaningful life.  Ignoring a porblem does sometimes work however, on the whole it's far better to deal with it as soon as possible and nip things in the bud before it gets out of hand.

There are few people who have not had to deal with problems or some sort of challenge, even famous people.  You only have to read biographies to find that out.  The knowledge that others have risen above adversity can be inspiring.

Mindset shift
Try this one on for size - Replace the word problem with challenge.  Sounds better and you are actually empowering yourself.  The language we use has an amazing effect on our daily lives so become aware of the sort of things you say to yourself.  Anthony Robbins in his Awaken the Giant within has a whole chapter on this.  As a Coach trained in NLP (Neuro Lingusitic Programming) I too am very aware of the sort of language that my clients use, which keep them stuck.

Never give up
Life is an incredible journey and the negative emotions are but a small part of it.  When you are in the middle of a painful time, it can be hard to remember that.  Just know that things will change and get better.  Believe in yourself.

My membership site will share many tips and techniques for overcoming life's struggles and problem.  All treid and tested by me.  Yes I too have many stories to tell.

Enjoy the process of life,

Beautiful Skin Tips For Simple And Easy Skin Care

A Message from Noelyne..

Beautiful Skin Tips For Simple And Easy Skin Care

Almost all women can enjoy a beautiful, soft, supple, flawless and delicate skin. To have such wonderful skin each you should stay on the lookout for beautiful skin tips. And particularly as we grow older, it is all the more important to start immediately with a quality skin care regimen; if you haven't already done so.

Maintaining a clean, healthy and beautiful skin is vital to our self-esteem, confidence and even attitude. Possessing a beautiful skin is within the reach of each you if you are willing to utilise time practicing a skin care regimen, healthy eating habits and exercise plan.

Below are mentioned a few beautiful skin tips:-

* Wash your face twice a day. Avoid scrubbing your skin as your pores can over produce oils. Use an SPF facial moisturizer after you wash your face. Moisturizer is to be used to protect the skin from dryness. People possessing oily skin do not have to moisturize frequently as compared to those people who have dry, normal or combination skin. The perfect time to apply body moisturizer is immediately after a bath; as it pushes the moisture into our skin.

* The skin is to be adequately cleansed, so that it is kept properly toned and clean. Cleansing helps in eliminating the dust and stress from your face by cleaning the pores and circulating the blood supply. A gentle cleansing agent should be used.  I have tried many types of cleansers in my youth and always come back to Anne French.  As my skin is maturing I now also use my Aloe Vera Sonya Luxury skin care range once a week.

* A facial is also an important step towards attaining beautiful skin. Facials clean the face and eliminate the top dead layers of the skin; giving rise to a beautiful and glowing skin. Facials further treat symptoms of dark patches, acne, and help in skin color restoration and skin toning.

* Care of lips too should be taken. Apply a high quality lip balm on your lips so that the lips can be kept softer, plumper, and healthier.

* Use a wet pumice stone/heel scraper on the heels and other rough areas of your feet. Use body scrubs to slough off the dead skin. Loofahs and body sponges also help in sloughing off the rough and dead skin which hides the newer skin beneath.

* Plenty of water consumption is essential, as by just hydrating your body, you will observe immediate improvement in the quality of your skin. Excessive water consumption is helpful in flushing toxins out of the body and in keeping the complexion clear and glowing. However, caution should be used to ensure we don't drink to much water. As doing so could reduce our potassium to a dangerous level, which in turn could lead to heart failure and other health problems.

* Get plenty of sleep. Lack of sleep creates unhealthy disorder in every part of our body.

* A healthy and balanced diet should be consumed for attaining beautiful skin. The balanced diet should consist of fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, low fat milk, wheat or rye bread and other appropriate healthy foods, as determine by you and your doctor.

* Follow a proper exercise program, which you and your doctor determine is safe for you. Exercise increases the heart rate and of course this leads to better blood circulation directly to your skin tissue.

* Protect your skin, when you go out in the sun with ultraviolet sunscreens with SPF 15 or greater. Further protect your skin from sun damage, skin cancer, aging and premature wrinkles by reduced exposure of the skin to the sun. with the proper clothing

Following the above mentioned simple and easy beautiful skin tips can help you and I, in keeping our skin clear, beautiful and healthy.

How do I relieve Knee swelling

A Message from Noelyne...

I view of the fact that I injured my knee on a recent ski-ing holiday.  First serious injury in 28 years of ski-ing!  I happened to find this article on How to Relieve Knee swelling which I thought I would share.  I'll explain what I did at the end.

How Do I Relieve Knee Swelling
The following information is a guide only. If any conditions persist then seek medical attention immediately.

If you want to relieve knee swelling then the information in this article could help you. Knee swelling is a common injury that most doctors see on a regular basis. It can be caused by a number of things from over exertion to arthritis and usually treated using anti inflammatory tablets. But more and more people are looking at alternative techniques to help relieve knee problems.

Causes

There are many causes of knee swelling but here are a few of the more common causes.

• Ligament or muscle tears
• Arthritis
• Infections
• Excessive exercising

Symptoms
A swollen knee and pain are usually the first symptoms one feels when you injure the knee, bruising is another symptom you should look out for. If there is fluid on or around the knee then it will be red and warm to the touch. Your knee will also be stiff and difficult to bend and generally be painful.

Help is at Hand

Help is available to help relieve knee swelling, and it can take a number of guises but all with the same end result, to alleviate the pain and swelling you have in your knee.

Usually with a swollen knee a course of anti inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen, naproxen or aspirin will help to relieve the knee of the swelling and pain, but nowadays more and more people are turning to natural remedies to aid them in reducing and relieving the pain and swelling.

The first thing you should do to relieve knee swelling is rest the injured knee and to elevate it so that if there is any fluid on the knee it can drain away.

Take an ice pack or ice cubes and put them inside a sealable plastic bag then wrap the ice into a towel and place it onto the knee. Never place ice directly to the skin as this causes burns.

A good anti inflammatory drug is called Bromelain. Made from pineapples and turned into capsules so it can easily be taken, Bromelain is excellent against any type of swelling on the body. It has other benefits too and one is that it is good for the digestive system.

Stay off the injured knee for as long as possible so that you can relieve knee swelling but if you must move about then use crutches to help you.

This advice is just that, advice and should not in any way replace any medical care and attention you should seek If your symptoms persist over a few days.

A Whole New Way

If you want to relieve knee swelling then there are many ways in which that is possible with natural remedies being the number one choice for most people. Many are available from a great many places, you might even have some in the kitchen, try them and see what a difference they can do to help you and your swollen knee.

Here's what I did

Firstly I already drink Aloe Vera Gel every day and this aids healing by up to three times the normal rate.

I got a friend to get a shovel full of snow in a Sainsbury's carrier bag.
Had a shower, rubbed Aloe MSM gel into the knee and elevated it with the snow pack placed on the knee.
Took ibuprofen.

Skied all day long the following day (not recommended)
Continued to take Aloe Vera and MSM Gel on the knee.
Took it easy the following week once I was back home.

Knee still a little stiff so exercising very gently to get it back to normal.

Nutrition

A Message from Noelyne...

Food is your body's fuel, so make sure you are running on four star.  Give your body the best food that you can afford and it will reward you with better performance.
Action
  • Eat 5 portions of Fruit and Veg every day - This sounds a lot however, can be incorporated into every diet.  Try fruit with your cereals in the morning, a salad with lunch, and piles of veg for tea.  Tinned and frozen are a good way of getting your quota as are fruit juices.
  • Reduce sugar intake - Lose the cakes, biscuits, chocolate and additional sugar on food.  When you eat plenty of fruit you will naturally get enough sugar and eventually your body will lose the craving.
  • Enjoy! Eat a variety of food to give your 9000 taste buds a good work out.
Have fun,

Noelyne

Motivation

A Message from Noelyne...

How motivated do you feel to find health and happiness?
What is motivation and how do you know if you are?

Motivation is about knowing what you want to do and why.  If you have a strong desire for something then you will feel motivated to take action.  You will do whatever it takes to overcome any barriers to your success.

You will feel enthusiastic, excited, focused and determined to succeed.

So what motivates you?  Do you have a strong reason why you are doing what you are doing?

How motivated are you to feel better?  To lose weight? To take some exercise? To eat healthily?  How much do you really want to feel happy?  Rate yourself on a scale of 1 to 10 with 1 being low and 10 being high.

If you anything less than 8 then you need to look at your reason.

To learn more about staying motivated join me in my new membership site coming soon and which will be packed full of hints, tools, books and videos guaranteed to get you to where you want to be.

All the best,

Laughter

A Message from Noelyne...

Laughter alleviates stress and tension, relieves pain and gives you a workout, inside and out.  So why do adults get so serious?  Babies giggle at 9 weeks old, children laugh regularly.  Human beings are programmed to like laughing, but when was the last time that you laughed?  Have too many people told you to act like an adult or wipe that smile off your face?

The healthy thing to do is to laugh until your stomach aches, every day.  It changes your mood and helps you gain perspective on life.  It also burns calories, 2 hours = 100 calories.

Do it!
  • Work out what makes you laugh.  Funny films, jokes.  Make a list and do them more often.
  • Learn to tell jokes
  • Make a laughter scrap book
  • Try to find humour in every problem
Enjoy the process!

Kindness

A Message from Noelyne...

"The only thing you cannot give away is Kindness as it is always returned"

Being kind is a positive force, making you happy through doing things for others.  Remember you can also be knid to yourself.

  • Do a kind thing for someone every day.
  • Volunteer - it's one of the most rewarding feelings, knowing that you want to be there and are not getting paid.
  • Give up the need to always be right, be kind instead.
  • Book your needs into your busy schedule too, don't put the at the bottom of the list.
Enjoy!

Joy

A Message from Noelyne...

What does joy mean to you?
When was that last time you felt full of joy?

Dictionaries define joy as 'gladness, pleasure, delight'

Make finding your own definition of joy a project for the next month.

Think back to times when you felt joy, hold the memories in your heart as a secret joy stash so that when you feel down you can easily recall the happy times

If you don't find it easy to remember joyful times then imagine what it would be like to feel joy.  Then go out and find some.  Let yourself be loved, take on adventures, go where your heart leads.

Today will never come again.  The past is history, the future a mystery, the present is a gift.  Find joy in each moment that you are here.

Enjoy the process of life!

Intuition

A Message from Noelyne....

How many times have you had a strange feeling or a second sense about something only to brush it to one side as being silly?
How many times have you wished you had listened to that inner feeling?

This is what I refer to as intuition.  An internal mechanism that aids your decision making.  Children tend to be intiuitive as they have not yet suppressed the natural ability to sense something.

  • I encourage you to allow that inner child to have it's say.  Start to develop your intuition.  You can do this by asking yourself questions and then listening to the answer.

  • In my experience when it comes to your health you instinctively know what is best for you.  Start to value this intuition, that gut feeling about what is best for you.
  • Think positively and believe in yourself.
Enjoy the healing process!

Heal

A Message from Noelyne...

I'm a big fan of Louise Hay author of 'You can Heal Your Life'.  It was Louise's words that really helped me to overcome the pit I had sunk into as a result of an ectopic pregnancy, following yet another unsuccesful attempt at IVF.

One of the things that Louise recommends is that you need to love yourself first before you can start to heal your life. Louise says 'If you can stop criticism of yourself and accept that you are OK as you are you can begin to change things if you want to'.  Have a go at the following:

  • Use affirmations daily 'I love and approve of myself'
  • Stand in front of the mirror and say 'I really love you'

This may seem strange and embarrassing at first but persevere and you will start to feel the effect.

Enjoy the process!

Gratitude

A Message from Noelyne...

In one of my favourite little books 'The Science of Geting Rich' there is a whole chapter on gratitude.  That's a pretty big hint that this is really really important when it comes to getting the life that you want.

When was the last time that you stopped to think about what you are grateful for in your life? What do you love and enjoy?  What are you thankful for?

I bet you are too busy rushing around trying to meet various demands on your time from work, family, friends and other commitments.

I encourage you to spend at least 10 minutes every day from now on just listing either mentally or writing down all the things you are grateful for.

Adopt an attitude of gratitude.  It's infectious!

Enjoy,

Noelyne Jones

Fun

A Message from Noelyne...

Have you forgotten how to have fun?
Do you remember how effortlessly fun happened as a child?
When was the last time you laughed until your sides hurt?

Life can get very serious as an adult so much so that we forget how to have fun.

Fun is a vital part of life, giving you joy, cementing relationships, putting the sparkle back, boosting your immune system to keep you healthy.  So start to plan to have more fun and then watch it starting to happen all by itself.

Here's a few ideas to get you started:
  • Make a list of all the things you love to do for fun and then do at least one a day.
  • Play games - get out the board games, have a pillow fight, use the wii, charge up some water pistols and head for the garden.
  • Throw a party
  • Have a laugh - just start laughing and watch what happens, stock up on comedies and naughty foods
  • Go for it - Allow yourself to admit a secret desire and then fulfill it - hot air ballooning, spending a day in bed, take up karate, join an evening class, learn Spanish.....
JDI!

Have fun,

Noelyne Jones
