Laughter alleviates stress and tension, relieves pain and gives you a workout, inside and out. So why do adults get so serious? Babies giggle at 9 weeks old, children laugh regularly. Human beings are programmed to like laughing, but when was the last time that you laughed? Have too many people told you to act like an adult or wipe that smile off your face?
The healthy thing to do is to laugh until your stomach aches, every day. It changes your mood and helps you gain perspective on life. It also burns calories, 2 hours = 100 calories.
Do it!
- Work out what makes you laugh. Funny films, jokes. Make a list and do them more often.
- Learn to tell jokes
- Make a laughter scrap book
- Try to find humour in every problem
