Menopause solutions

A Message from Noelyne...

Yesterday I shared with you a little of my story of overcoming menopause problems and the journey that I have been on.  I mentioned some of the products that I am taking to supplement my diet and as I know you will be interested in finding out more about them I am putting the links to the products here for you to view on-line and purchase.

Aloe Vera Gel Drinks - the natural healer and nutritional tonic for better health and well-being.

Arctic Sea Omega 3 capsules

Multi-Maca the Peruvian herb and natural HRT.

Gin Chia the natural anti-depressant

A-Beta-CarE  with Vitamins A, E and selenium. A powerful anti oxidant.

Click on the links above to view the items and something that I didn't mention yesterday that's really important to you is that there is a 60 day money back guarantee with all of these products.  Now as the company has been established for over 30 years it says it all for me.  They would not still be around with a guarantee like this if the products didn't work.

Enjoy and please contact me by e-mail if you have any questions click here

How to Overcome Menopause

A Message from Noelyne...

It has always been my intention to go through the menopause naturally without hormone replacement treatment or therapy.  I hadn't really put much thought into it as I just expected to be able to get through the menopause naturally without any form of treatment.  I didn't really know when it would happen so of course when the time came I didn't recognise the signs.

I wasn't expecting it and I had been naive enough to think that I wouldn't need any help.  So I was shocked when I realised that I wasn't coping terribly well with life and that it was actually due to the menopause. The realtionship with my partner broke down and I could do nothing to stop it.  I had been moody, irritable, lacking in energy, head pains and then aching joints.  In hindsight this was all so out of character that I am amazed that I didn't realise that there was something happening.  The problem is that it's so gradual.

When I look back now I realise that the first signs were when I started to have very short menstrual cycles of 17 days and less for a few months.  I had put it down to stress at the time as I was particularly busy with my business.  Then I went for a while with longer gaps of 30+ days and eventually I went 6 months without a period.

It was at this stage that I had my first hot flush.  Yet I still didn't realise that I was also having mood swings and feeling irritable.  Then I had a number of bad headaches and seem to become intolerant to alcohol.  Even one glass would cause a bad headache.  My partner and I were growing further and further apart at this stage and anything I did to regain the relationship just made matters worse.  About 18 months after the very first signs I realised that I was exhausted and that my joints were aching and that I needed help.

I am totally against HRT so going to the GP was not an option that I was prepared to take.  I was introduced to a local business woman at a networking event and she introduced my to Forever Living Products, the aloe vera company.  I went straight onto the Standard Aloe Vera drinking gel and within 3 weeks my energy levels were back up.  I started taking Artic Sea, Omega 3 fish oils and my joints stopped aching within 6 weeks.  I then started taking additional supplements to see what effect it would have on the other symptoms of Hot Flushes and mood swings.

I started with Gin Chia which is recommended as an anti-depressant and mood enhancer and also good for menopausal symptoms.  I took it for a while but wasn't convinced so went onto A Bet CarE, which is rich in vitamins A(Beta carotene), E and selenium.  This really gave me a boost and I started to feel great.

Then occasionally I found myself feeling low again and as soon as I did I took a Gin Chia, which helped to pick up my mood.

I was still getting hot flushes so did some research and found that the Peruvian herb Maca is great for managing hot flushes and is n fact a natural HRT.  You can imagine my delight when I realised that Forever do a supplement with this wonderful herb in it - Multi Maca.  I now feel fantastic, the hot flushes have virtually disappeared and what's more my libido has returned...yes maca is also known as the sex herb :)

It's now 16 months since my last menstrual cycle and I feel fantastic! High energy, positive again and loving life.  Most importantly I am now seeing my partner again.  He and the boys are back in my life although he did move back to his own house, so it's early days with that.

For the first 48 years of my life I did not take supplements of any kind preferring to get my nutrition from the food I eat.  I realised that this just was not enough for the menopause.  I now take the following products:
  • 60 mls Aloe Vera Gel Drink every morning
  • 1 Arctic Sea capsule daily
  • 1 Multi Maca daily
  • 1 Gin Chia as and when I notice a dip in my mood
  • A BetaCarE occasionally
My mission now is to help you or anyone you know to overcome menopause naturally.  You can do it!

You're Great

A Message from Noelyne...

You are unique!  So there's no point in trying to be anybody but you and to the be the best that you can be.  In my personal development workshops 'Make the Best of You' I show people exactly how to do that.  In just 8 hours participants can learn to let go of the past, learn to be themselves again and transform their lives.

Sounds pretty good deosn't it.  If you would like to know more about the training courses that I deliver please e-mail me

In the meantime follow some of these ideas to help yourself create your own personal power:
  • Stop comparing yourself to other people, there is no right way to look or be.  Celebrate you and your differences and be yourself. Wear what you like and what suits you.
  • A smart person once said that if you try to be someone else you could only be a second rate version, a sort of human photocopy.  If you have the courage to be you, you would be the original.  Wouldn't you rather be an original?
  • Love yourself for who you are and not what you look like.  Extend this to others, don't judge people by the way they look, go deeper than this and value yourself and others for what's on the inside.
I encourage you to celebrate the uniqueness of you.

Have fun,

Noelyne Jones

X-Factor

A Message from Noelyne....

I love this TV programme, don't you?  I know it's not everyone's cup of tea however, it's inspirational to me because it brings hope to so many people, even if only for a very short while....  Most people are searching for the one thing that will make the difference to their life, the one thing that will transform their lives.  The people queueing patiently to meet the X-Factor panel believe that it's there chance of fame and fortune and to be recognised for their unique talents.  They are chasing a dream.

Like for so many of the X-Factor hopefuls it is constantly elusive and life just doesn't measure up on the scales of success.

What is it that you are chasing?
Do you constanly wish you had more?  Perhaps you look at the neighbours or friends and wish you had what they seem to have?

Instead of focusing on the parts that are missing or the negatives do a mind flip and look at everything that you've already got that's good.  Friends, family, partner, books, music, a place of your own.  Make sure you give enough time to these.

In the little book 'The Science of Getting Rich' Wallace Wattles talks of 'not wasting time trying to figure out some strange, unusual or remarkable action to perform as the first step toward getting rich.  Just do what you normally do but with a new attitude, point of view, mindset'

I qualifed as an NLP Master Practitioner a few years ago and this transformed my life through showing me how to change my mindset and have a new attitude and view of the world.  In my training and workshops I use the tools and techniques of NLP to help transform other peple's lives too.  My new Membership site is packed full of hints and tips on getting the most out of life.

Enjoy your own personal X-Factor,

Noelyne Jones

Well-Being and Wellness

Bouncing with happinessImage by alancleaver_2000 via Flickr

A Message from Noelyne...

Well-being
Health can be defined as 'A state of complete physical, social and mental well-being and not merely the absence of disease and infirmity'  True well-being happens when you achieve collaboration of the body and mind.  Balance and harmony are two words that I also associate with well-being.

Here's some tips for creating well-being:
  • Take a few moments each day to get yourself back on track.  Create balance and harmony through meditation or yoga.  Find a peaceful space, focus on your natural breathing and give your mind time off from the stresses of daily life to get back your balance and inner harmony

  • Take up the gentle exercise of Tai Chi - it helps to bring back balance through breathing exercises and gentle stretches
  • Use your personal time to focus on your positive points and achievements.  Keep a success diary and add to it weekly
  • Use positive thinking to boost your self-esteem and learn to accept others appreciation of you.

Wellness
Keeping well is the best gift you can give yourself.  Everything else comes together when your health is at it's best.  Yet it's all to easy to take wellness for granted until it's gone.  I've recently snapped a few fibres in my knee as a result of falling on the ski slopes and the binding not releasing.  It really brought home how important it is to take care of our joints and muscles.  It's been a reminder to me to take it easy and listen to my body.

Top tips for creating wellness
  • Eat healthily and remember to practice good hygiene when preparing food.
  • Get moving - one of the best things you can do is to get some form of exercise
  • Think well - believe that you can manage your own health and that you have a strong healthy immune system.
  • Get plenty of rest - it's essential to get your recommended amount of sleep, this does vary so work out what you need.
I've blogged in more detail before about most of these topics so have a look around the site if you want more information or contact me click this link

Be well!

Vitality

Jogging in the park...Image by Ed Yourdon via Flickr
A Message from Noelyne...

How much vitality do you have?  Do you have low levels of energy? Every little bug, cold, stomach upset whittles away at your body's store of vital energy.

How would you like to feel full of energy again?  It's possible to get your bounce back by following a few of these tips.

Eat super foods - rich in immune boosting vitamins and minerals.  Green, orange and yeloow vegetables provide a rich source of antioxidants.  Garlic and Propolis (a natural antibiotic) ward off infections to keep the body healthy.

Drink Aloe Vera gel first thing in the morning to kickstart your system.  It detoxes and is also an excellent source of all the essential vitamins, minerals and amino acids that the body needs.

Lack of sleep can zap your body of vital energy and lower the immune system so if you have trouble getting off the sleep then drink calming tea such as camomile before bedtime - if you don't like camomile try the ones with honey added.

Reduce your stress levels as this is another major culprit in depleting the body's natural defences.  Find time for an aromatherapy bath, with lavender or rosemary essential oils to ease away the day.  Alternatively try a massage with you partner.

Enjoy recharging those batteries.
