So why do you choose to eat food that's high in fat, sugar and salt? Those convenience meals that are OK once in a while however, you know you shouldn't eat regularly. Is it because it's easy, you don't have to think? They are certainly readily available in the supermarkets. But then again so is all the healthy stuff. In fact fruit and veg are normally at the entrance, so you can't blame the supermarkets!
Maybe you are not sure how to prepare healthy food and need some advice? It's actually quite easy once you know how and get yourself organised. The food tastes much better and doesn't really take much longer to prepare and if you include your family in the process then it can be great fun too.
So work out what it is that you need to do and then go find the information. If it's a good recipe book then there are loads available. A couple of my favourites are the following:
Delia's Complete How to Cook: Both a Guide for Beginners and a Tried and Tested Recipe Collection for Life
Hamlyn New All Colour Cookbook ( Hamlyn All Colour Cook Book )
Hamlyn New All-Colour Vegetarian Cookbook
Next time I'll look at how you plan your week to make sure you get organised and find time to prepare delicious meals and stay healthy.
Enjoy the process!
