Natural Healing

A Message from Noelyne....

I met a friend for coffee yesterday which is a good health tonic in itself.  It's wonderful to relax with friends and catch up on what's been happening over the past few months.  We had a long discussion about Natural Healing, alternative therapies and people who are Natural Healers.  My friend is a Reiki practitioner and Spiritual healer.  Over the past 18 months her powers have been growing phenomenally as she practices more and more.  She now has the ability to heal people naturally and senses where there is a problem and what to do about it.

She shared some of the success stories with me which is fantastic to learn about.  It's also very encouraging to know that more and more people are seeking natural remedies and alternative therapies to complement conventional medicine.

We discussed the fact that there are still many people who are sceptical about healing naturally and perhaps a little fearful of something that is different to what they are used to.  One of my recent experiences was when chatting to a friend about her recent diagnosis of MS.  The GP had advised her to be wary of the internet and in fact not to even look at the information on the web.  I realise that there are many many sites that are not genuinely aiming to help and are only after your money, promising to do wondrous things if you get your credit card out.  Equally there are many many bona fide, genuine professionals who have real time talents and knowledge to share that can help in many conditions.

It's a shame that one person's (GP) fear can influence another person so easily.  That's the power of our education system and authority figures.  What if the people who advocate Natural Healing are right?  What if it is possible to heal naturally through the power of the mind?  What if all illness and disease is caused by our own thoughts or the food that we eat or the chemicals around us or the way we handle situations or poor belief systems?

Do let me know your thoughts as this is something that I feel passionately about and I am keen to know what you think.

Best wishes,

Noelyne
